Not sure if it would work with the Sony US site and software as I have not tried it, but it is worth a shot. If you have a VPN with a server in the US, you may be able to fool the Sony server into thinking that you actually are in the US.

A free and easy to use VPN is HotSpot Shield (Google and you shall find). Just run the program, and suddenly all your web requests are encrypted, sent to the US, decrypted and process, and the replies are re-encrypted and sent back to you, then decrypted on your computer. Sounds complicated, but the whole thing is absolutely transparent to the user.

Don't forget to switch it off when you are done, as they limit the monthly bandwidth usage (but it is certainly enough for you to buy as many books as you want).
