Just wanted to let you guys know that I finally have the mold problem in check. I am using a dehumidifier and the room air purifier.I placed few books which had mold in a container with activated charcoal and baking soda which did the trick and for maintenance this combination of air purifier and dehumidifier seems to be doing a good job.I am trying to maintain the ambient relative humidity at below 45%.

If you notice the picture here there is a lot of dust trapped in the filter fiber of the air purifier. I just took it out for cleaning.
