After the line changed to Romantic Suspense there were a few years there when the word count was slashed by like 20,000.

I know SIM became SRS in Feb 2007, then HRS in April 2011. But I don't remember exactly when the word count was cut (just that it was after the line became SRS). It went back up around the same time it switched from SRS to HRS.

Just something to keep in mind if you're looking at backlist.
