Hello Everybody!

Hi,

I'm a new owner of a Sony PRS-505. I bought it primarily to view the huge number of my company's pdfs without either opening them on a computer or printing them. For this use, the Sony reader is only OK. With strong enough reading glasses I can read even the smallest text, but what really is missing is the ability to search for text.

I'd also love to see an automatic page scrolling feature so I wouldn't have to touch any buttons to read a whole document.

I've been reading ebooks on my Palm devices for years. The Sony reader is better than my Treo in screen size and that's about it.

What I really, really want is Arthur C. Clark's "Newspad" device that appeared in the movie, "2001: A Space Odyssey". It was thin and lightweight, had a screen the size of a sheet of "foolscap" (8-1/2 X 13-1/2), a full color display, and was continuously updated from an "information circuit". Too much to ask?

Happy ebook reading,

Bob
