I'm convinced it's just a matter of no one working on it. If you have an older copy of the PagePerfect Nookbook with cc-based encryption, you can open it in Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 by entering name and cc number (if you still know the correct info, of course). Or any app that supports pdfs and B&N's DRM. You can also sideload them to Nook for PC by going to "my stuff" and clicking the Add New Item button (this should work with new copies too).
That being said, I applaud not buying from B&N anymore. And I may see if I can get a refund on the one non-freebie PagePerfect book that I bought.
