I suspect that the location of the dictionary is not the issue here.

Every MobiPocket book has a "language code", including dictionaries. In order to be able to look up a word in a dictionary, you need to have a dictionary with the same language code as the book that you're reading. If, for example, your book is marked as "French", then only a dictionary that's also marked as "French" can be used to look up words in that book.

A mis-match in the language code between the book and the dictionary is the most likely reason to get an "Aucun dictionnaire pour cette langue" error.

[If someone would be kind enough to translate this into French for me, I'd appreciate it]
