Free Audio Stories

The New Yorker has a podcast featuring famous authors reading famous authors -- almost a hundred stories so far, all free for the downloading:

If you set up iTunes' Import Settings to import as .mp3, you've got generic .mp3 files in your iTunes podcast folder that you can transfer to any audio device. (Edit--Preferences -- General -- Import Settings -- Import Using mp3 encoder)

I'm also enjoying audio of various iTunes U college courses on literature and history using the same process -- download free course into iTunes and then transfer the .mp3 files to my .mp3 player.
