If you've dropped it into OneDrive then you're OK - you might want to drop the calibre config folder in there too
Go to
Preferences->Miscellaneous and click
Open configuration directory, keep the explorer window open, close calibre, go up a level in Explorer (backspace). Now copy the ...\calibre folder to your OneDrive folder.
Now do the download, uninstall, install - nothing will go wrong because you have backups.
