I met Terry Pratchett at Minicon in 2005. At the time, I didn't know Discworld from Ringworld. (I have a copy of Ringworld, haven't gotten around to reading it yet) But after hearing him speak, I went out and picked up a Discworld book more or less at random - it was The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents. I pretty quickly devoured all of his Discworld books. I considered pacing myself - like that's going to happen.

I know it is terribly selfish of me, but when I heard that he had died, I couldn't help thinking "will there be any more Discworld books?" I understand his daughter will be continuing the series. Hopefully, she'll be up to his legacy.
