I'm not saying they should. I'm saying that a book is worth what it's worth no matter whether it's new or old. If a book is worth $7.99 to me (not what it's worth to the author or the publisher, but to me), I'll pay it. The worth has to do with the book content, not how old it is. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
