Well, apparently it's probably-glitch freebie day, and this time there are 6 titles (5 in the UK) available to pre-order in the Kindle store and apparently nowhere else, courtesy of publisher Scholastic.
[ETA: 3 of these have now shown up for pre-order @ Google Play and B&N UK as well; the others seem to have been glitches that were removed. New pre-order linkage added below.]
It's a mix of younger readers and tween-to-YA novels in the humorous school adventures, sfnal, paranormal fantasy, and mystery-crossover categories, and as with all pre-orders, there's a chance they might get cancelled on you.
So I guess this is now the (late!) selected 3rd (non-repeat) ebook thread of the day, for real.
Because while it's not as broad-ranging a selection as the 40+ HarperCollins US-only glitch freebies, at least these are free (if not cancelled) to more Gentle Readers around the world (hopefully). And it's got much more sfnal stuff in it, including a nifty-looking thing by an award-winning UK YA fantasy author, so
And now I really do need to get some rest.
Enjoy!
