My wife surprised me with an early Christmas present and I now have a PRS 700.

So far the screen seems fine to me, there is a glare, but my other reader is a LCD and also has a glare.

Reading in the dark with the side lights on works great for me and I would say it's easier on my eyes then the backlight on the 1150.

We'll see how i feel in a week or two, but I think the 1150 will be passed onto my wife and if she hates it will be kept as a spare / travel device.
