This, IIRC, was the authorized biography and yes, it's a bit of a fluffy praise piece. But you do get a few stories that aren't covered by Errol Trzebinski's Markham bio, and it's a pretty decent read that's worth spending time (and some, but not too much, money) on, IMHO.
