So, what are my options? I have Kindle PWI, it doesn't support EPUB and I've been told that MOBI is dated format and I should be using AZW3.
Here's an example:
Book.epub (409 KB) (original)
Book.azw3 (610 KB) (converted from epub)
Book.mobi (551 KB) (converted from epub)

War and Peace.epub (1 604 KB)
War and Peace.azw3 (2 226 KB)
That is almost 40% increase in size.

When you have hundreds of books it adds up.
