Do you have the version 5.4 or 5.5 firmware? I found out that the multi-touch structure in the SDK has changed in the latest firmware versions. PocketBook have said that they will release the header file for the new firmware versions soon, so I am waiting for that to fix the problem.

If you go into the Configuration menu, you can turn off the status bar at start-up.
