I don't really like to re-read. I have a couple of absolute favourite books I'll occasionally go back and re-read from time to time (This Perfect Day in particular) and I enjoyed reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo a second time, but I'm not sure I'd go back and read it again... I can see the "comfort" appeal, but then I get that kind of comfort feeling when I pick up a book by certain favourite authors, and a new story from them is always more appealing than re-reading an old one.
