Yep, the older devices don't have a unified installer.

k3w is for B008 (Kindle 3 WiFi)
k3g is for your Kindle 3 3G
k3gb is for the UK edition of the Kindle 3 3G

(I am fairly positive the "Installation" spoiler explains this? )
