I assume this happened when you opened it for the battery?
That sucks - but is not unexpected if it was the first time you opened something that delicate and fiddly.
Over here in the UK, its scarcely worth getting replacement screens as 2nd hand K3s are often found in CeX stores for not much more than the price of screen + shipping and they have a national stock search on their website so its easy to find one. You don't risk damaging a screen fitting it either.
You could try to obtain a faulty K3 that doesn't have a screen problem (e.g. one that is stuck in a boot loop, crashes or is otherwise unusable but updates the whole screen) then transplant your main board, new battery and case back.
