At this point in time have over 3000 free, well-formatted classics (thanks to a once-upon-a-time loophole in the server setup of a well-known company*...). I also own about 60 Delphi classics.
Beside that, I have enough fantasy, horror, detectives, and historical fiction to last me for at least 15 years, possibly 20. All my series are complete, as I only ever buy entire series at once, after they are officially 'done.' (Therefore, I don't have the Song of Ice and Fire books, for example, and I didn't watch the TV series yet, as strange as it may seem.)
In short, I've decided to actively
quit buying ebooks, except for the ones I'm going to read right now.
Because of this, I've stopped worrying about keeping up with new series, as I have enough stuff to read to last me at least my entire lifetime.
The same goes for music and movies, by the way. I have hundreds of movies on DVD and Blu-Ray, and over 800 CD's ripped to FLAC (with over 400 classical CD's yet to go). I'll buy new stuff at the time I'm going to watch it or listen to it, and not before.
*Rest assured, these classics actually are legal, free, and still up for download, one at a time. The loophole has been closed years ago though.
