That's a big part of the concern for me.
Ripoff aside ... $30
isn't all that much to pay for the convenience of a Windows executable. But who knows how old the source is they've used? Or what they may have snuck in the binary? If it works—it works—I guess, but it would seem pretty fragile to me. One small change on the vendor side of things has you spending
another $30 when that binary version you have is rendered useless and unable to be updated.
Then add the unabashed horking of someone else's free code (for your own profit) and calling it your own on top.
