I took a look at the
UK Fire HD6 product page. I just skimmed the description, but I don't see Firefly mentioned there. On the
US Fire HD6 page, that feature is prominently highlighted. I noticed that the device model numbers are actually different.
The description for the "new"
HDX 8.9 in the UK states (emphasis mine):

It looks like Firefly may not be available on Fire HD6 in the UK at this time.
Edit: Apparently, some Fire HD6 owners in the UK
have received Firefly on their device, so never mind...
