Yes, true. It requires extra steps. You cannot automatically assume that a monitor and a mouse with right click is used to view the forum. Me? I mostly use my phone exclusively to read MR. The popup when clicking ends up mostly partially outside the screen area - and when trying to scroll it disappears. Blame my inferior browser (Chrome) for not doing it better. Look at how Alan posts most his images that are large - they are a link to the full size image and show up within the size limit for in forum view. Perfect, easy to view on my phone - and can be made bigger if necessary. That is what I want to be able to do with attached images.

Did I mention that the popups are horrid if using a mobile device for MobileRead?
