It has been discontinued and Amazon proposes to replace it with a newer device.
My biggest concern is that the new PW and Voyage have lighted screen.
I really hate reading on my smartphone or tablet as i suffer from migranes, and that was one of the reasons i was crazy about my kindle keyboard, no back light .
Some people say that they love the lighted screen, i am not so sure and as i live in Crete, i dont have the oportunity to check the devices myself.
Any suggestions on the eye strain and the lighted screens?
Thank in advance

The frontlit PW2 or Voyage is a very different beast from the backlit LCD/LED tablet such as an iPad. As well as my PW2, I have an iPad Mini. I would not even consider using it for reading. The PW2 is
very easy on the eyes.
Don't forget, should you try it and find you cannot use it you can return it to Amazon, and there is an alternative, which Amazon just calls the
Kindle. It has no front light, and it is currently on special.
