Use Sigil's search & replace tool to find instances of class=" followed by a space, and replace with class=" without the space.

This is the first time I've ever seen such a result (Sigil displays it as you would want, while Kindle stalls). What happens if you upload your uncorrected epub to Epubcheck at http://validator.idpf.org/ ?
