They list books on their front page that are clearly only available from the drm enthralled publishers, but their sideloading instructions are for generic epub/mobi documents. This has all the earmarks of a very expensive and elaborate pirate site.
(If I find indication that I am wrong, I would be first in line to be their customer.... legit direct epub download from mainstream titles...... funny how it's here and I haven't even heard of it.)
Edit: Looks like I was wrong,, Harper Colins is indeed dipping their toes in DRM free (or, should I say, Social DRM) waters. This is great news for canadians.. the purchase and download of a book was as effortless as any other e-book store. Of course, no device syncing for those who need that, but I like this site much better than Kobo,,, (except for the limited selection, of course.)
