Reporting another bug

Hi everyone,

Another bug I've come across (with M96 version 4.2.2015):

I would like to use NeoReader as a notepad. So I created a blank PDF (with lines) to scribble on.

First try: I copy the blank PDF on the M96, rename the copy and scribble in it. The scribbles appear in the original document as well. When I erase the scribbles, it erases them in both documents. I therefore have no blank document left. It doesn't make a difference btw if both documents are located in completely different folders.

Second try: I export the scribbles from my blank document (without scribbles), thus creating a new document in a sub-folder. When writing on that new document, the scribbles don't appear in the original which remains blank. But when I want to create a second document to scribble on in the same manner, the same scribbles as on the first export also appear on my new export. And when I erase the scribbles in one of these two exports, it erases the scribbles in the other document as well. Both documents have different file names, for information's sake.

Unfortunately, I don't see how this leaves me with a possible acceptable workflow... Unless creating a stack of empty documents on my pc that I transfer on my M96 in advance for whenever I may need them.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

CJ
