Frozen screen - Recovery menu

Hello people.
Yesterday I got my Kindle K3 Keyboard D00901 model.
The reader is frozen on the recovery screen. I tried the simple reset by pressing the power button for 30 seconds but nothing happened.
I took the back cover away, and found it had not a reset button but just 2 mounds of solder. I closed the circuit linking the 2 mounds with a paper clip but nothing happened.
Then I put it on wall charger. Started charging yesterday at 5pm GMT+1 time, this morning at 7am GMT+1 time was charged.
As I read in the Kubrick guide, it should charge for at least 20hrs. So I will wait until tonight.
But I noticed one thing: the screen was not in recovery menu but in Amazon Kindle home screen...has it done a full debrick ALONE? Was only a matter of recharge?
What I'm asking now is...do I need a Kubrick debrick?
Or should I reset from the settings menu?

Thanks in advance for any help.
