@badbob001 - I use the View Manager PI, for each View I have a keyboard shortcut (ctrl/alt/1,2,3...) which serves as a refresh key, but it does mean I have to know which view I'm in

If you're in a VL and you change a book's cell values such that the book no longer meets the VL's search expression then Esc will refresh the book list in the sense that the just changed book won't be there (it will also clear the search bar of course). I only recently discovered this, so I'm not sure if this has always been so.

I agree there should be way to refresh the list -- apply current VL, apply search bar expression, apply sorts, apply View, apply column colour rules, apply column icon rules -- are the things I can think of that might need to be taken into account.
