This is a Canadian site with a business model which involves purchasing ebook "gift" cards in physical stores. You buy a card with a code which allows you to download either a paricular book or to utilise a credit to purchase a book from their site. There are credit card facilities available which the faq suggests are for paying the difference between your credit and the book you want. It appears accounts are only intended for people living in Canada. You can download books in epub or mobi formats. They give instructions to download and then sideload book files to various devices. They do not provide their own reading application, nor is any mention made of Digital Editions or Overdrive. Although their terms and conditions specifically refer to DRM their sideloading and downloading instructions do not cater for it. Perhaps this is an unpleasant surprise to be discovered when you download a book. I can see, for instance, that you may then find you require Digital Editions for EPub Books, though I am not sure how they would cater for mobi books with DRM.
Finally, I am not sure if they cater for buying books without purchasing a physical card.
