Spent most of yesterday cleaning off the driveway - even with full sunlight & temps in the upper 40's F - this heavy wet snow was going nowhere. After creating a shovel wide path on the front walk I surrendered and retreated to several heating pads on my recliner.
Last night all the meltwater froze - the end of the driveway is currently a skating rink - temps to remain in the 30's F for the next several days - glad I moved as much snow as I did.
Of course, this being NC, temps on Wed/Thurs may reach 70 F .... and then plummet again for the weekend ...
Well, all should be clear enough by 11:00 today - Stella has her annual 'wellness' appt for shots & exam. Load the earplugs!
