Familiar by Frances Pauli (
ISFDB), 1st in her Corduroy County Coven series of paranormal mystery adventure novellas starring witches vs demons (may contain romantic elements). This appears to be self-pub, but Pauli is a Mundania Press author and gave away a whole bunch of her sci-fi/fantasy stories during a prior Read An Ebook Week, so if you grabbed and liked those then, maybe you might want to try this one as well.
