Hi Community,

I picked up a PW on sale at Radio Shack. The original sticker price was $119, so I assume it was supposed to be a special offers model.

However it does not have special offers.
I wondered if it might have been because it's registered to my under-13 son's account and they don't put adds on kids devices or something?

But I'd never heard of that, so I don't know what's up. Is there a way to tell from serial numbers or something if a device was initially a SO or not?

Or am I just out of touch for too long and I'm missing something obvious?
