It seems strange that the wireless wouldn't work for you, when presumably you have the same hardware as the other users, who don't seem to have encountered the problem.
Other users have complained about not being able to check the battery life, though it's not clear to me if they mean that they can't read the remaining value in any way, or if it's just that the predicted time remaining changes erratically (which I would expect given the power usage of e-ink). Could you comment on this? Also, I don't think anyone has actually timed what the battery life is.
