I'll just have to make sure I get your Calibre plugin and backup reading stats (does it include hours etc?), otherwise worst case I can just manually mark as read anything that JD Robb / Nora Roberts has ever written and that should cover it
I probably do actually have the utility, just need to update it; been quite some time since I seriously messed with this stuff.
