This has been discussed a couple times, most recently about 3 weeks ago. You took part in the conversation yourself.
My answer remains unchanged: I'm not personally interested in pursuing RSS feeds. But I will accept code contributions if someone else comes up with a clean way to do it.
In semi-related news, from the lack of comments, I assume the Email update feature is working for those who've tried it. I want to give a few more days for the
translation teams at Transifex to work on translating the new strings before I release it.
