I will make an update for the serienumber.
I wonder how you get 4 books in Calibre.
When I do the search i get only 2 books . One of them is Lydbok, i will skip this kind also in the next version like CD etc.

search with ISBN doesnot check for given author and title. When ISBN number is not found or is unknown then the search is on tile and author.
For overwriting is the ISBN you have to select that in calibre: dowload metadata fields ( free translate from dutch
)

The plugin does not use that any more, in stead of this just Norsk is add to the search query. In calibre the log says it found 3 results, one of them is lydbok
