People think they are very careful but they're not imo. They think having an ereader in a case guaranties you doing whatever to it. It doesn't. It's not a titanium case, it's some leather or plastic, that's light armor people!
That being said I had kindle keyboard since 2012 and kindle paperwhite 2nd gen since 2013, and I didn't break any of them. I don't even use the case on paperwhite.
