Great picture Stitch!

I'm at home doing nothing much after three days of travelling.

London was great, but the visit was very short.

On Thursday after arriving we first got tickets for Cats that night. Then to the hotel to drop off our bag. My sister wanted to look for a new scarf and some make up in London so we spend most of the afternoon going in and out of shops. When she veered towards the Primark I stopped her and demanded we go to the hotel to rest for a bit before going to the theatre (I've been to the Primark on Oxford Street once and it's not an experience I wanted to repeat).

Cats was great. We didn't have the best seats, but that is chance if you buy day tickets. But luckily most of the action was on the part of the stage I could see (my sister had a slightly better view). I saw Cats 15 years ago and since then they've made some changes.

On Thursday we had a full program. My sister wanted to see some of the London landmarks. First we went to the National Gallery, where we also had lunch. Then we were off to Westminster, my sister was a bit underwhelmed by the Big Ben. Back on the Tube and to St. Paul's. We had planned on going inside but they wanted £17, we wouldn't have minded paying but £17 was too steep so we walked around it back to the Underground. By the time we got to the Tower we were tired and had a drink at a nearby pub. We walked around the Tower and viewed Tower Bridge. We took the DLR to the Emirates Air Line to the O2 (great trip!) where we had dinner at Las Iguanas and took the Air Line back and went to the hotel. I felt like I spend half of the day on public transport!

Today and tomorrow I plan to take it easy (and give my blister a chance to heal ).
