I'm sorry about your contact lens, Peter.

This is a rant of the severest degree, I'm afraid... My niece is in a drunken stupor and threatening to leave. She's packing her clothes with a bottle of Bud Light(?) sitting next to her... She has nowhere to go. Earlier, while passed out at a bus stop, someone stole her bag (and wallet) again. And now she's threatening to leave... and commit suicide.

It's time I focus on growing spiritually--learning as much I could about meditation and spirituality to get myself out of this rut--to get myself out of this house, as disabled as I am (with my hands and all). I need spiritual guidance and I suspect the answers are within.

What was it that came to me the other day? *searching Aphorisms thread* "Meditation helps you seek your higher self."

I hope this is true. I'm putting aside my 2015 Annual Reading Challenge List--a majority of the things on that list and focusing, instead, on growing spiritually... simply growing spiritually, reading a few books along the way, and moving out of this house.
