Neither Sony, KOBO or the library have an explanation. I have reset the ebook to factory settings twice, without fixing the problem.
I have 2 questions:
1. Has anyone else had the problem, and if so can it be fixed?
2. Is there another eReader on the market which has these Sony features?
I also had downloaded books from the library before updating the latest firmware to include direct access to the Kobo Bookstore on the homepage of my PRS T-1. Today I was able to download a book from my local public library after some initial difficulty. My library webpages are a bit hard to navigate and it took some effort to complete the process from log in >add to cart > checkout > and download. Try again and be sure when at your library website to see if you are missing any of the steps you need to checkout a book.
