BeBook or EZReader? Same Hanlin model?
Hi,
I just posted my introduction. I am in the market for a Hanlin V3. One thing I have a hard time to clarify is whether the BeBook and the EZReader are the same Hanlin V3 model?
BeBook claims 512MB of internal memory, which would mean they use the more recent Hanlin model called V3ext, but EZ Reader claims 32MB of memory only. So are they really selling the older Hanlin V3, although they just hit the market in the US?
Also, the Hanlin website only shows a model V3 with 32MB of memory. No trace of a 512MB model.
So what is the story here? And also, does the 512MB mean only that you can store more books in the internal memory, or does the extra capacity have another purpose, such as supporting more complex firmware or extensions in the future?
If I buy a 32MB Hanlin V3, can I still load it with a 512MB BeBook firmware?
I have also read that the Mobi support of the BeBook is still flimsy. In which way?
