It's a wonderful morning. I woke up and tried to build ebview again. Several months ago, I built it but failed to run it on iLiad. Today, I tried to compile with different combination of options and then... I succeeded.
This is EBView for iLiad. it's a EPWING format reader, mostly for dictionary. It's widely used in Japan (I suppose), but support many language, as long as you have proper dictionary. It's far more advanced, powerful, and complicated than mobi-reader. Besides, many large dictionary on CDROM can be converted to EPWING format with proper tools.
How to install:
1. unpack the attachment to "programs" dir in MMC/SD. There should be a "ebview" dir now.
2. grab needed libs from Midori or StarDict package that I released yesterday. To find which lib is missing, start mrxvt, execute "cd /media/card/programs/ebview" and "./run.sh", and it will show missing lib. Copy required lib file to "ebview/lib" dir
3. to install dictionary, put your EPWING format dictionary in any directory, goto "Tools" in menubar, then goto "Dictionary Groups", add dictionary path, set depth, and search dictionary.
4. xepdmgr contributed by Antartica is required.
If you don't understand what I am saying, try to install a ebview on a Linux desktop and learn its UI.
