Check installed apps in Settings. If you could not find Root Master, then copy "Root Master 1.3.6_Cekas FIX.apk" to your device and install it manually.

I backed up the various partitions with the Android ROM Dumper Tool v. 2.1. I attach a screen print of the output folder. The existing boot.img (old) has a size of 16 MB.
After renaming it, I copied your “Icarus_boot1.img” (which actually is identical with the boot.img of the latest official firmware update) into the output folder.
I then marked the boot partition for download (see screen print) and got a success message.
However, if I check by doing another “ExportImage” it turns out that the boot.img has not been changed in spite of the success message.
Using the old “ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe” as recommended by Bob in his detailed instructions is no alternative for me, as the Icarus device is not recognized by the program.
Any ideas what else I could try?

You have to install “Icarus_boot2.img”.
“Icarus_boot1.img” will not work in your device because it is a T61C.
