I got the following after compressing my Glo database :

calibre, version 1.48.0
Kobo Utilities - Compress Device Database: The database on the device has been compressed.
Original size = 84.092MB
Compressed size = 84.362MB

Any thoughts on why the "compressed" version is bigger than the original ?

Using Win XP hence Calibre 1.48 and 2.81 on the Glo as I really don't want to lose the "Reading Progress" facility.
