Whispersync Companion Deal on a John Quincy Adams Biography--$8.48

Here's another Whispersync companion deal. It is for the ebook and audio of John Quincy Adams: American Visionary, by Fred Kaplan, and narrated by Eric Martin.

Note: this is not the same audiobook on John Quincy Adams as the one which is today's (Monday, 02/16/15) Audible Daily Deal! That one is by Harlow Giles Unger, and is narrated by Johnny Heller. It is similarly rated. Being priced at $3.95 it is a good deal, though not as good of a deal if you look at it from a price-per-minute standpoint, at least, with it being only about 1/3 of the length of the one that I'm posting here.

Before I give the details of the deal to you, I must forewarn you that it is more expensive than most that I post--the total price is $8.48. You may not consider that very expensive. I mean, $8.48 certainly isn't a lot to spend nowadays for a high-quality (which this one is) audiobook. I know that if you look even in the bargain section of some audiobook distributors' catalogs, you won't be able to find any audiobook that inexpensive. However, tightwad that I am, I try not to spend more than about 4 or 5 bucks for an audiobook, and I have to swallow hard before I click on "buy" for one more expensive than that. Besides, I have a reputation to uphold, and I don't want you guys thinking that I have gone soft.(ha) I feel that I must justify posting a Whispersync companion deal this pricey.

Well, here's the justification. First, the audio is very long--just under 28 hours! When you look at it from a price per minute standpoint, this deal is a real bargain. Second, the regular Audible audio edition price is $34.95 (full disclosure: but it's one credit for you Audible members)! Compared to the regular price, this deal is less than 1/4 of the price. Wow! Too, with this deal you get the ebook, also, and the Whispersync syncing benefit.

So that you will not think that I'm telling you to "do as I say, and not as I do," I'll let you know that I am going to (swallow hard and) get this deal for myself, as soon as I finish this post.

Okay, here's how you get the deal. Buy the ebook, on markdown now, for $2.99. Then, you can buy the Whispersync companion for $5.49. Total for the deal--$8.48. To grab the deal in the most expeditious manner, I suggest that you start here, at the webpage for the Amazon ebook.

Happy listening (and reading, if you so choose).
