The HD 6 and Case arrived at about 9:30 A.M. -- about half an hour after getting home from early Mass. First impressions. The HD 6 feels and looks bigger than I expected. The screen really does show fingerprints. (I might have to find some kind of screen protector.) Until the HD 6 updated, the web browser wouldn't load pages even though I had successfully registered? (Odd.) Once the update finished everything was fine. Read a chapter out of my current book -- the screen is sharp. Played a movie snippet -- was surprised at the volume and clarity of the sound (and the quality of the video). Much louder than the 1st Generation Kindle Fire.

As for the Fintie case ... I like its look and feel -- and, when opening and closing the cover, it successfully turns the HD 6 on and off -- but I don't like the way it doesn't quite fold back on itself. So far not particularly comfortable for holding. But I probably just have some adjusting to do to get used to it. If I can't adjust to it, I may look into an Amazon OEM case -- if they fold back a little better.

At any rate, overall I like it.
