Amazon Blocking dropbox on 3g?
Hi All
I did a quick search on google and mobileread and nothing jumps out, so apologies if this has been covered.
When Abroad on holiday, I use kindle to download newspapers via my dropbox account and calibre2opds.
On this holiday due to the hotel charging 6Euro per day for wifi I decided to use the missuses kindle keyboard 3G, which is what we have always used when camping and never been a problem.
However, I was getting a KIndle cannot connect to this web page message.
Other sites, BBC etc all load okay.
I connected to dropbox via a free proxy server in the end.
So, is Amazon blocking access to the dropbox domain via it's 3g?
Or is something else afoot?
If they are blocking it, is there a better work around than proxy as it is a a right pain having to type the url in everyday, as saving the page as a bookmark doesn't work.
Thanks
Dave
