I lived that movie. I was the lifeguard at the 'Lach Sheldrake Inn,' in the Catskill Mts, for the summer of 1964. Although the movie was filmed in North Carolina, the Lach Sheldrake Inn looked almost identical, with the same style of cabins, lodge, lake, and dinning room, as well as the very same 'cast of characters!' I can put a 'real name' to each character in the movie, from dance teachers, band leader, waiters, and even the smarmy son of the owner! What a fantastic summer that was! I was 18 yrs old, going off to college in the fall, and a walking hormone placed in just the right setting! God bless 'Bungalow Bunnies!'
