Allright, I see.
Well i am not planning to use the whispernet/3g as I have ordered the wifi model. But I might be at the library were some kind of wireless way of transfer would be beneficial. But I am guessing there is a limitation in amazon document sync itself. So the mobi. extension would be the way to go then?
Sorry for all the questions, but there is a lot of new things to get my head around
Your help is appreciated!
Edit:
Sorry eschwartz, apparantely I did not read your reply thoroughly enough and got confused between Whispersync and whispernet.
Anyway after reading a bit more I have to say it is a shame that it is not possible to send azw3s to the kindle through whispersync.
As i kind of mentioned the scenario were such a service would be useful is when i am not at home. Sure, most of the time I will bring my laptop, but my main computer is a desktop.
Also I actually got to test a Paperwhite 2 from a friend just now. I did a little test converting and transfering some documents. Every document were converted to azw3.
I tried html., docx. and epub. And docx. --> azw3 through calibre was by far the best conversion.
