A Once and Future Love by Anne Kelleher (ISFDB), a Quantum Leap-y sort of f/m timeslip bodyswap romance putting a 21st century man into the body of his medieval ancestor, originally out from Jove in 1998 (blurb says that this has been updated with a new ending).

England, 2014. When Richard Lambert’s beloved wife dies, he thinks he will never find love again. Until, while exploring a medieval tower, he falls from the steps—and into another time…

England, 1214. When Richard wakes, he’s in the body of his ancestor, who is near death from battle. As his wife nurses him back to health, she finds he is not the cruel man she knew. And he discovers a second chance—with his one and only love…

The Bride Price by Karen Jones Delk, an f/m interracial historical romance involving a Creole beauty and an Arab Sheik, originally out from HarperPrism in 1992. This one is available to Canadians and also free worldwide when I spot-check.

Sheltered Creole beauty Bryna O’Toole was raised in a convent in Louisiana, until the day her father sends for her to join him in Morocco. She's just arrived at his Tangier mansion when his enemies kidnap her and sell her to a "marriage broker." Against her will, she is now bound for the glaring white sands of Arabia and the harem of lecherous wastrel Nassar bin Hamza.

Bryna’s only hope of escape lies with the powerful uncle of Nassar bin Hamza, Sheik Sharif Al Selim, noble lion of the desert. But Sharif’s honor keeps him far away from Bryna, his nephew’s woman, despite their incredible attraction. As the caravan journeys on, love clashes with honor, ecstasy with terror, as the handsome Sheik and the Creole beauty will discover if they're meant to be together, forever.

The Emerald Queen, an f/m intercultural historical romance involving a French Creole plantation woman and an American steamboat captain, originally out from HarperCollins' Diamond imprint in 1994. This one only seems to be free in the US when I spot-check other regional stores.

Simone Devereaux is the emerald-eyed hoyden of the Vieux Carré, mysterious queen of a steamboat empire, chateleine of a grand plantation.

Arrogant Marcel vows to have her, to destroy anyone who stands in his way--even Simone herself. Genteel Alain swears he'll turn the spitfire into a lady, but instead, his passion makes a woman of her. Steamboat captain Tom, l'américain, offers Simone an unexpected refuge, an unprecedented partnership-- and his heart.

Yet the beautiful Simone will belong to no one, unless he truly loves her for herself -- and forever.

NB: for some reason these are both filed under "Inspirational Romance" in the Amazon categories, but IMHO, the content of the plots and the torridness of the original paperback covers (and their being out from a HarperCollins dedicated romance imprint rather than one of the Christian lines) makes me think those are a misfile. YMMV.

Averill by Jackie Ivie, 3rd in her Brocade Collection of f/m historical romances, this one an espionage-looking adventure installment set in 1840s Cairo. I couldn't easily find original pubdate info (if there was any) for this one, but Ivie has been a Kensington Zebra author.

Only the bravest of souls live on the streets of Cairo. And the most desperate…

Raised an orphan in the mission, branded a bastard, and lusted after, Averill had no choice. She couldn’t stay. It wasn’t safe. And she didn’t belong. She doesn’t belong anywhere. Nothing hides her vivid blue eyes and artistic talent. But she’s safe on the streets, as long as no one looks too close. A foreign soldier with an eye for detail could destroy her world.

The only thing worse is going back.

Captain Andrew Tennison has a secret mission, a bent for intrigue, and a taste for danger. What he doesn’t have is any desire to assume his position in England as heir to an earldom. Undercover work in Her Majesty’s service is exactly what he likes. The last thing he needs is to become entangled with a woman of unusual beauty whose existence is in peril. But someone has to step in.

…and alter fate.
